FRANKFORT, Ky. – Because of the severe weather in Kentucky and other parts of the country, the Kentucky State Parks are offering special lodging rates at some lodges and cottages through Sunday, Nov. 4.
The rate for lodge rooms is $44.95 a night at the following resort parks: Blue Licks Battlefield, Jenny Wiley, Carter Caves, Greenbo Lake and Pine Mountain. The rate is $49.95 at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. Rates for single-bedroom cottages start at $74.95 a night.
Guests who require lodging should call one of these parks and ask about the emergency shelter rate, as well as availability information and reservations. More information about Kentucky State Parks is available at www.parks.ky.gov
The Kentucky State Park System is composed of 49 state parks plus an interstate park shared with Virginia.
