LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Aug. 15, 2016) – The Kentucky State Parks will have a booth at the 2016 Kentucky State Fair Aug. 18-28. The Kentucky State Parks booth will offer prize drawings for visitors.
“The Kentucky State Fair is a great opportunity for people to find out more about our park system,” Parks Commissioner Donnie Holland said. “We invite everyone to come by our booth in the South Wing and learn more about their favorite park.”
Guests can enter their names in prize drawings for overnight stays in lodges and cottages, free camping, free rounds of golf and free tickets to the Oct. 8-9 Battle of Perryville re-enactment at Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site.
Civil War re-enactors in period dress will be at the state park booth Aug. 19-21 and Aug. 27-28.

Information about park events and maps will also be offered at the booth.
