Arts n’ Barks in the Park Set For Sept. 3 at General Butler State Resort Park

CARROLLTON, Ky. (Aug. 22, 2016) –General Butler State Resort Park in Carrollton will host Arts n’ Barks on Sept. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This free event combines two events that had been held previously at the park, the Goldenrod Gala Crafts Festival and Woofstock.


The day will feature four-legged entertainment with Ultimate Flying Canines and Miller’s Border Collies. There will be contests for dogs, dog-related vendors and adoption groups. There will be a blessing of the animals ceremony at noon.


The park is working in partnership with the Carroll County Animal Support Organization in Carrollton. Most proceeds go to CCAS.


Musical entertainment, handcraft vendors and food concessions will also be featured.


General Butler State Resort Park is steeped in military history with a unique setting at the confluence of the Kentucky and Ohio rivers.
